Brent Oliver

As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Brent helps families identify and achieve their financial goals. His comprehensive approach to wealth management helps families identify where they are today, where they want to be, and what gaps are preventing them from achieving all that is important to them.

Brent Oliver began his career with Avery Wealth, Inc. in 2013. Before Avery Wealth, Inc. Brent was in the telecommunications industry where he worked in business development. Since 1998, Brent has owned and operated two successful businesses allowing him to gain extensive experience in finance, marketing, management, and customer service expertise.

In 1993, Brent received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. In pursuit of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, Brent furthered his education at Kaplan University completing the extensive Financial Planning Education Program and earned the CFP® professional designation. Brent adheres to the CFP® Boards Professional Code of Ethics and continuing education requirements. Brent is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association.

Brent has the heart of a teacher and works with clients to ensure they understand why strategies are being employed and how they will help families reach their goals.

Brent and his wife, Shannon, live in Jackson, Michigan. They have three sons, Easton, Cortland, and Isaac, and one daughter, Isabel. He currently serves as a Board Trustee on the Western School District Board of Education. Over the years, Brent has served as the Director of Baseball for Western Youth Little League and also volunteered as a coach for countless youth football, basketball, and baseball teams.

Brent enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and cycling.
